Once your purchase is confirmed, you'll receive a welcome email containing your subscription key and activation instructions. To activate your Proxmox VE subscription, follow these steps:

1. Retrieve Your Subscription Key

Your subscription key starts with "pve..." and can be found in two places:

• In your welcome email: Check the email you received after your purchase.

• In your Client Area:

  1. Log in to your Client Area on the Proxmox online shop.

  2. Navigate to "Services" and then "My Services."

  3. You'll see a list of your services, including your subscription key.

2. Activate the Key on Your Proxmox VE Host

1. Log in to your Proxmox VE host.

2. In the administration interface, select your host.

3. Go to the "Subscription" tab.

4. Click on "Upload Subscription Key".

5. Enter your subscription key into the provided field.

3. Key Validation and Important Notes

After entering your key, your Proxmox VE host will automatically validate it by connecting to https://shop.proxmox.com.

• Internet Connectivity*: Ensure your Proxmox VE host has internet access to https://shop.proxmox.com for successful validation.

• Server ID Binding: Each subscription key is uniquely tied to your server's "Server ID" and undergoes regular validity checks.

• Manual Validation: You can manually trigger a validation check at any time by clicking the "Check" button in the Proxmox VE administration interface.
